Stress

"Stress is the response of the body to any demand and occurs when pressure exceeds your perceived ability to cope biological perspective is"

One of the biggest stressors is the workplace.

A recent Workplace Health Survey (US) found that 63 percent of respondents reported that their workplace stress resulted in a significant impact on their mental and behavioural health, with 7 percent said they had actually been hospitalized due to work-related stress. Job stress costs employers in the US (and EU) more than $300 billion annually and may cause 120,000 excess deaths each year.

Chronic and high stress leads to
  • Increased substance use
  • Decreased employee engagement, sub-optimal performance, and high turnover rates
  • Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, depression, anxiety... and burnout
  • STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN YOUR BRAIN which has devastating consequences on all levels of your life

Not only is stress affecting your work performance and your health, it also causes the breakup of marriages, has an impact on your children, and in general disrupts family life.

But who is responsible?
Who is going to solve the stress epidemic and how?

I've been working with people that suffer from stress for more then 11 years and I can help you build stress resilience. I  go even a step further and want to inspire and empower you to help yourself, and others to become more stress resilient and thrive no matter the changes ahead.

In the “Navigating Stress” workshops I offer you the fruit of my personal and professional journey and share future-proof practical solutions that are effective today without adding to your busy schedule. These workshops are not meant to completely eliminate stress in your life, but implement steps to reduce its negative impact, and retake charge of your health, and well-being to flourish.

Each workshop is a stand-alone module. Experienced as a full series these life-skills do fit seamlessly together and offer you exponentially more impact to thrive living and working in a fast-changing world
